A surprisingly realistic box camera, rendered in concrete by Artist Nobuho Nagasawa, memorializing Little Tokyo photographer Toyo Miyatake. Located at 1st & Central in LA, the camera is situated about a block east of where I remember his studio in the early 70’s; perhaps this was his location before internment at Manzanar.
